“Initium Sapientiae Timor Domini” (Prov. 9:10)
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”
Praised be Jesus and Mary!
Now and forever!
The school we love SAAT is her name
She stands a statue brave and strong
She molds our hands and guides us through the world
By keeping us all sound and strong
She molds our souls by teaching us the faith
She molds our minds and bodies too
She’s all what a mother is. She’s our beloved SAAT
Let’s hold her high and lift her to the heights
Let’s fight for her and love her all the time
Now open your hearts to her Dear SAAT.
St. Anthony’s Academy, she’s a true Alma Matter
Dear St. Anthony’s Academy.
She’s a school and a home all in one.
St. Anthony’s Academy let her blue and her white banner fly
Let her live in all our hearts and lips
Let St. Anthony’s Academy ever live.
“AM” stands for “AVE MARIA”, in praise of Our Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, the Patroness of the School. The rays signify the light and wisdom that emanate from the Virgin, the Mother of the light of the world. The Sampaguita beneath the book is symbolic of her purity, while the stars represent her many virtues.
At the center of the seal is an open book, which signifies learning. Inside the book is written the Latin inscription, “Initium Sapientiae Timor Domini”, which, when translated means, “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” This motto signifies holy fear, love, awe, and profound reverence for the Divine Source of Wisdom, joy, grace and life itself.
