St. Anthony’s Academy of Tuburan, Inc. is a Catholic School that is an instrumentality of the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary that aims to provide within its community of students and personnel Catholic values. Its goal is to provide an educational program and environment animated by Catholic doctrine, beliefs, teachings, traditions and practices, the exercise of which is protected by, among others, Article III, Section 5 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
In order for us to approximate our vision and live our mission discerning, proficient and compassionate Ignacian Marians with unwavering faith in God (FAITH), passion in giving the best of who and what they are (EXCELLENCE) and genuine humility to serve society in varied socio-cultural settings (SERVICE).
INSTITUTIONAL OBJECTIVES
St. Anthony’s Academy of Tuburan, through offering only Junior High School (Grade 7 to 10), adheres to the Department of Education’s K to 12 Program which covers Kindergarten and 12 years of Basic Education (six (6) years of Primary Education, four (4) years of Junior High School [JHS], and two years of Senior High School [SHS]) to provide sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, develop lifelong learners, and prepare graduates for tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Specifically, it aims to:
provide experiential approaches in the academic and Christian Living Programs which nurture the dynamic love of God, a sense of personal worth & concern for others especially the less fortunate;
preserve local and national heritage and patronize all Filipino products;
provide teaching strategies that will enrich students’ intellectual curiosity, analytical and logical thinking skills and aptitudes necessary for making proper decisions in life; and
enhance students’ knowledge on information technology through updated computer program to become relevant and active members of home and society.
